I had the privilege of working with Anne Meinert on three Real Estate transactions in 2005. I had worked with Anne once previously and was so pleased with the job she did on the sale of our home that I used her services two more times. We had our home with Anne in May of 05 and our home sold in August. She did a great job of advertising, and the exposure brought many people through our home. Anne also had an open house that created more traffic. She provided a lot of helpful suggestions for us to make our home more attractive to buyers. We were priced on the high end of the market and didn't expect a quick sale, but the buyer found us in late June. Anne skillfully negotiated with the buyers to bring a successful conclusion to the sale. We were completely satisfied with the work that Anne did. We retained Anne's services for two more purchases later in the year and once again she did a fantastic job for us. Anne is very detail oriented. She perseveres and is extremely thorough. She was very flexible and went out of her way to accomodate us on several occasions. Anne's experience level ensures that her clients' are really take care of and that there are no surprises. My relationship with Anne began with a search for a real estate agent to handle the sale of my recently deceased brother's property in Newberg. I asked three agents for market analysis. Of the three, Anne was the best suited to my needs. She stood out due to her professional demeanor, her knowledge of the local market and her zest for the job. First impressions are important. Her appearance, while not necessarily vital for the job, was very neat, properly dressed and confidence inspiring. Her name on the CMA as having sold some of the comparable properties was impressive. Both her grasp of the business and her ability to lead me through the process made this difficult time much less of a trial than I had expected. Her knowledge of local services, vis-a-vis people to render the property saleable was invaluable. If the reader is considering her in the light of an employer: congratulations, you have a winner. If your considerations are those of a colleague: you have an honest, hard working and capable cohort. If your consideration is that of a regulator: you should hold her up as an example of how your business should be conducted. I have not enjoyed my experience in this business. It was full of painful loss, baffling memories, annoying realizations, and seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Anne Meinert, however, made it all work.
